Notifications
Fesk sends notifications for assignments, ticket updates, mentions, and approaching deadlines.
The notification bell
Click the bell icon in the navbar, or press Alt+N, to open the notification panel. It shows recent events relevant to you:
- Ticket assigned to you
- Status changed on your tickets
- New comment on a ticket you're involved in
- SLA breach approaching or triggered
Unread notifications show a count badge on the bell.
Managing notifications
- Click a notification to jump to the relevant ticket.
- Mark as read: click the dot on an individual notification, or use Mark All as Read at the top of the panel.
- Notifications older than 30 days are automatically archived.
Configuring preferences
Go to Settings → Notifications to control what you receive and how:
| Event | In-app | Email | |-------|--------|-------| | Assigned to me | ✓ | ✓ | | Status changed | ✓ | - | | New comment | ✓ | ✓ | | SLA breach | ✓ | ✓ | | Mentioned | ✓ | ✓ |
Toggle each event type independently. Email is batched so a busy ticket doesn't flood your inbox. For high-frequency events such as status changes, the in-app badge may be enough. SLA notifications fire before the deadline, giving the assignee time to respond.
