Keyboard Shortcuts
A short, honest list. The command palette covers most of what you need; the rest are page-specific.
The meta key is ⌘ on Mac and Ctrl on Windows and Linux.
Anywhere in the app
| Shortcut | Action | |---|---| | ⌘K | Open the command palette | | ⌥ + N | Open the notifications dropdown | | Esc | Close the open modal, dialog, or command palette |
The command palette is the workhorse: jump to any ticket by number, search by title, switch pages, run common actions. If you only learn one shortcut, learn ⌘K.
Inside the command palette
| Shortcut | Action | |---|---| | ↑ ↓ | Move between results | | Enter | Run the selected result | | Esc | Close the palette |
On the board, list, and settings pages
| Shortcut | Action | |---|---| | / | Focus the search field |
The / shortcut is ignored while you're already typing in an input, so it never steals a slash from a comment or a filter value.
Inside a comment or reply editor
| Shortcut | Action | |---|---| | ⌘/ | Open the canned-response picker | | ⌘B | Bold the selected text | | ⌘I | Italicize the selected text |
Comments and replies use a rich-text editor, so ⌘B and ⌘I apply to your selection, and a floating toolbar adds strikethrough, inline code, and links.
